I Lost My Job… Then The Universe Made One JUST for Me

Hi Athena,

I wanted to share my manifestation success story with you.

I’m a software developer with 10 years of experience — but to be honest, most of that was just in numbers and not real hands-on work. Deep down, I always knew that if I ever got a real opportunity, I’d be great. But my identity was stuck in the belief that I wasn’t good enough because I lacked actual project experience.

One thing I was always confident about, though, was money. I had a solid self-concept around it because I’ve always been paid well, even during times when I didn’t have much work. What I really wanted was to develop code using the latest technologies, but I just never got the chance.

This year in March, that desire reached its peak. I had this clear thought: I’m ready. I don’t need to study more or prepare endlessly. I can already do this.

Then something that looked like a huge setback happened. My company didn’t renew my visa on time, and my client company offboarded me. I lost my project. It felt like things were falling apart, but I didn’t panic. I accepted it, thinking, What’s the worst that could happen? I’ll just go back to my country.

Meanwhile, my company and the client manager were trying to create a new position for me in the same project but nothing worked out. I ended up with no work for 3 months. On the surface, it seemed like there was no movement at all — but behind the scenes, things were reorganizing in my favor.

Out of the blue, I got a call from my company saying there was an opening in another project and they wanted me to interview for it. At first I was frustrated — I didn’t want to go through preparing again. So I just decided, If they want to hire me, they will. If not, I’ll go back. I didn’t prepare at all. Just before the interview I told myself: This will be smooth because the interviewer already likes me.

The interview lasted only 15 minutes and I was selected! The best part? This project didn’t even exist before. It was brand new, built on the latest technologies, exactly what I had been wanting. Now I get to work in a team (before this I was always an individual contributor and longed for teamwork).

Recently, I met the manager who interviewed me and he said: “You are very lucky. It’s as if this project was created just for you.”

And truly — it was.

Much love,

The one who loves Koko Bean❤️
